At our clinic, professional mole imaging is performed by a Medemis nurse using a high-quality dermatoscope. The images are then securely forwarded to a dermatologist for evaluation.

How does the Dermtest mole examination work?
1. Consultation and imaging
Our nurse performs a visual assessment of the skin lesion and captures high-quality close-up images using a dermatoscope.
The location of your moles is then mapped and recorded, allowing for accurate comparison during future follow-up examinations.2. Image transfer to a dermatologist
All images are securely transmitted via the Dermtest platform to an experienced dermatologist, who evaluates the condition of the mole or skin lesion.3. Written report from the dermatologist
The dermatologist provides a written assessment, usually within 7 working days. The report indicates whether the mole is benign, requires monitoring, or needs further treatment or consultation.4. Follow-up and future comparison
If desired, we can monitor your moles on a regular basis by sending reminders and comparing new images with previous records, allowing for early detection of any changes.
