How does the procedure work?
The procedure is painless and performed by a dermatologist. If malignancy is suspected, it is essential to remove the lesion surgically, not by laser.
Before the procedure the lesion is examined by a dermatologist with a special instrument - a dermatoscope.
The skin is cleansed before the procedure.
An anesthetic injection is administered to the area before laser removal.
If there are a lot of lesions (e.g. a whole neck, you should arrive 45 minutes early for the numbing cream).
The dermatologist selects the appropriate settings on the laser and starts the removal. Removing one lesion takes only about 5 minutes.
After the removal, a restorative cream and a bandage is applied and a home care guide is given.
If necessary, please schedule a follow-up appointment (15 minutes) to the same doctor who performed the procedure.

Questions?
We have answers
How can I find out the cost of removal?
The price for the removal of skin lesions starts from €90 (includes the visit and dermatoscopy). The price depends on the nature of the lesion (size, location), the complexity of the removal and the number of lesions. The doctor will give you the exact price during the consultation.
Is it possible to remove formations on the eyelids with a laser?
Yes, in this case the doctor will use special metal eye protection. It should be noted that fitting the eye shields is uncomfortable and that the eyes may be sensitive after the procedure. You should also be prepared for increased swelling and bruising of the eyelids as this is a delicate area.
Is the procedure painful?
The procedure is usually relatively painless, as an anesthetic injection is made with a fine needle before the procedure, which completely numbs the skin.
Will there be a scar after the removal?
The risk of scarring after laser removal is minimal, compared to a surgical removal. Some lesions are deeper in the skin and there might be a small scar after.
