Book an appointmentMinor surgery includes small surgical procedures during which skin and subcutaneous lesions are removed, including moles, skin tumors, lipomas, cysts, keratoses, and papillomas.
Surgical procedures are performed by Dr Silver Joosep Paluste.
If necessary, the removed tissue is sent for histological examination.
This is a paid service that is not covered by the Health Insurance Fund. Both self-referred patients and patients referred by family doctors and other specialists are welcome.

What should you know before and after the procedure?
Before the procedure
Before the removal, please inform the doctor about your health condition and any medications you are taking, especially blood thinners. In the case of moles, a prior dermatoscopic examination by a dermatologist is required to assess the nature of the lesion. If necessary, the doctor will provide additional instructions regarding medication use or preparation for the day of the procedure.
After the procedure
After the removal, it is important to keep the wound clean and dry and to carefully follow the aftercare instructions provided by the doctor. During the first few days, strenuous physical activity, sauna visits, and swimming should be avoided. The healing scar should be protected from sun exposure for at least a couple of months. If you experience severe pain, swelling, redness, or any other concerning symptoms, please contact the clinic. If needed, we also provide guidance on scar care to ensure the best possible healing outcome.
