Before & after the procedure
Before the procedure
- Avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours before the treatment.
- Before the treatment, treat any active inflammation (including dental inflammations) when possible.
- We recommend avoiding dental appointments for 1 week before and after the procedure.
- 48h must have passed since the last tanning session. Injectable procedures are not recommended on freshly tanned or sunburnt skin. We also recommend avoiding self-tanning creams for 1 week before and after the procedure.
- We recommend avoiding blood-thinning medications (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Marevan, Hjertemagnyl) 3-7 days before the treatment.
- We recommend not using fish oil or vitamin E supplements 1 week before the procedure.
- We do not perform the treatment during antibiotic therapy; at least 2 weeks must have passed since the last dose.
- Avoid smoking for at least 4 hours before the treatment.
- If you take medication, please inform us before your appointment.
- Contraindications: oncological diseases, chronic inflammations in the body, keloid scars, active herpes, blood disorders, autoimmune diseases, hypertrophic or fresh scars (less than 6 months old).
- The treatment is not performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- For persons under 18, we perform the treatment only with parental or guardian consent.
- Where possible, please come to the appointment without makeup.
After the procedure
- Avoid touching the injection area for 2h.

Avoid smoking for at least 4h after the procedure.
- Make-up products must not be used in the injection area for 12h after the procedure.
- Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid heavy physical exertion and intense exercise for 24 hours.
- No sauna or hot baths for 2 weeks.

No intensive device treatments should be performed on the procedure area for 2 weeks (unless the specialist has advised otherwise).
- It is recommended to protect the injection areas from UV radiation (SPF50 sunscreen) for 1 week, especially important if bruising has occurred.
- After the procedure, mild redness, bruising, haematomas, swelling and skin sensitivity may occur.
- To reduce swelling we recommend cold compresses and antihistamines (Zyrtec, Claritin).
- The treatment area needs to be massaged during the week.
- Other reactions or side effects lasting more than 1 week should be reported to your specialist.
- If the following side effects occur, contact your specialist immediately: severe subcutaneous irregularities, pain at the injection site interfering with normal life (speaking, sleeping, eating), changes in skin colour (purple, white or greyish patches).
