How does the procedure work?
Mesotherapy is recommended for deep skin hydration and prevention of ageing, smoothing out small wrinkles on the face, neck and décolleté. The deep mesotherapy preparation (Filorga NCTF HA) contains hyaluronic acid (5mg/ml), vitamins, 24 different amino acids, minerals and coenzymes. The rich and nourishing formulation of the solution provides an immediate intensive hydration.
The treatment should be done by a course of 3 treatments (3 times every 2 weeks and, if necessary, a fourth and fifth treatment at monthly intervals).
After the treatment, the skin is left with papules which usually disappear after 12 hours.
The procedure is preceded by a consultation in which a specialist takes a thorough medical history, examines your health, previous procedures and the medicines used.
Make-up is removed and the area to be injected is disinfected before the procedure. Before the procedure, the injection area is numbed with numbing cream (lidocaine cream).
Then using a fine needle, injections will be made over the treatment area.
After the injections, a restorative cream is applied to the skin.

- We recommend coming to the procedure with no make-up.
After the procedure

- Mild redness, bruising, swelling, skin sensitivity may occur after the procedure.
- In case of swelling, antihistamines (e.g. Zyrtec, Claritin) and cold compresses may be used if necessary.

Questions?
We have answers
Does mesotherapy hurt?
Mesotherapy typically involves some discomfort because you’re having multiple injections. We also use a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) before the procedure and use a very thin needle for injections.
What does mesotherapy do?
Mesotherapy is used to smooth and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment adds hydration, smooths the surface of the skin, and helps the skin to regenerate itself from within.
How long does it take to heal from mesotherapy?
After the injections, tiny papules (bumps) are left on the skin, which are usually absorbed into the skin within a few hours. Generally by the evening of the same day the bumps are absorbed, but the tiny injection sites may still be visible the next day. There may also be small bruises and slight redness, which generally disappear quickly and make-up products can be used the next day.
How to choose between mesotherapy and biorevitalization?
Mesotherapy is more suitable for those with dry and thin skin that is not significantly loose. We recommend mesotherapy for younger skin, biorevitalization if there are already visible wrinkles. Mesotherapy should be done every 2 weeks, biorevitalization every 4 weeks. Mesotherapy has a relatively quick recovery time, whereas with biorevitalization the papules may persist for up to 3 days.
