How does the procedure work?
The procedure uses a Morpheus 8 Subcutaneous Adipose Remodelling Device (SARD) with fine needles at the tip of the handpiece. The specialist places the tip on the skin for a few seconds, during which time the needles penetrate the skin and the radiofrequency energy from the needles reaches the deep layers of the skin.
The radiofrequency energy passes through the fine needles and heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This improves the skin's firmness, tone and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.

Questions?
We have answers
How is Morpheus 8 different from regular microneedling?
Morpheus 8 technology delivers deep-dermal rejuvenation using targeted radio frequencies to reach deeper into the skin layers. The needles used in Morpheus 8 are thinner than traditional micro-needling needles and are able to go deeper (up to 4mm) - so we can tailor the treatment to suit your needs by going as deep as the skin will tolerate. The deeper the needles penetrate, the more collagen can be stimulated. The result is a much firmer, more youthful appearance.
Is Morpheus8 procedure painful?
A numbing cream is used prior to the procedure to help reduce discomfort and pain.
Why is the procedure called Morpheus8?
The procedure is named after a character from the Matrix film, Neo Mentor, because the treatment uses a micro-needle matrix.
What does recovery look like after the Morpheus8 procedure?
Recovery is generally very individual and depends on the condition of the skin and the strength of the procedure. More details about the possible recovery will be discussed in an individual consultation with a specialist. On average, there is typical redness and swelling of the skin immediately after the procedure, which is temporary. Small bruises may also appear. Redness on the face can last from 1 to 5 days, on the neck up to 7 days. Swelling may last 1-2 days. There is a sensation of heat on the skin for the first 24 hours after the procedure. Peeling of the skin is possible in the following days. The recovery period visually usually takes 3-7 days on average, with full recovery of the skin within two weeks.
How should I care for my skin after the procedure at home?
At home, it is advisable to wash your skin with a physiological saline solution the day after the procedure. Afterwards, it is advisable to use a soft cleanser or gel that does not dry or irritate the skin during the recovery period. It is recommended to use skin regenerating creams without active ingredients (Cicaplast, Aquaphor) and to apply sun protection cream SPF50 before going outdoors. Do not exfoliate the skin and active/acidic creams can be continued after two weeks.
If I've had cosmetic procedures (fillers, botulinum toxin, Radiesse, etc.), when can I have a Morpheus8 procedure?
After Radiesse biostimulation and threads, it is recommended to do the Morpheus8 procedure not earlier than 3 months after the procedure. After botulinum and filler injections, it is recommended to wait at least one month before performing the Morpheus 8 procedure to reduce the biodegradation of the substances.
For better and faster skin recovery, it is recommended to perform an iPRF plasmalifting or biorevitalisation procedure 2 weeks before the Morpheus 8 procedure.
How to choose - fillers or Morpheus8?
Morpheus 8 improves the quality of the skin in the whole area and tightens the skin, but does not completely remove deep wrinkles and dynamic wrinkles. Morpheus 8 gives a firming effect after the treatment but does not provide volume. The effect of the filler injection is an immediate volumization of the specific area. The procedure is chosen according to the skin concern and the aim of the treatment.
