How does the procedure work?
Laser hair removal is a procedure that uses a laser - concentrated beam of light, to get rid of hair in different areas of the body. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment (melanin) in the follicles absorb the light. This destroys the hair. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.

Results
Appear
Hair do not fall out immediately, but you will shed them over a period of 20 days. The repeated treatments are usually necessary because hair growth and loss naturally occur in a cycle, and laser treatment works best with hair follicles in the new-growth stage.
Remain
Most people experience hair removal that lasts several months, and it might last for years. But laser hair removal doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal. When hair regrows, it's usually finer and lighter in color.
You might need maintenance laser treatments for long-term hair reduction.

Questions?
We have answers
Is laser hair removal safe?
Laser hair removal is usually safe and effective for most people. Only an experienced healthcare provider should perform the procedure.
How painful is laser hair removal?
While laser skin treatments do work incredibly quickly, they can be slightly irritating during the treatment itself. The pain is minimal and has been compared by patients to a rubber band snapping against your skin.
Do I have to shave before laser?
You should shave within 24 hours of your scheduled laser appointment. Your laser specialist cannot treat areas that have hair above the skin.
How many procedures do I need?
Generally, you need about 6-10 laser treatments in order to completely get rid of hair. You can expect to see about a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after your first treatment. As you continue your treatments, more and more hair will fall out, and you'll notice that it continues to grow back more slowly.
Can I do laser hair removal at home?
At-home laser removal devices are less powerful than the device you’ll find at the medical clinic and they might not be strong enough to get completely hair-free.
