IPL Photorejuvenation
IPL or 'Intense Pulsed Light' is a rejuvenation treatment which uses light therapy to break down melanin in the skin, reverse pigmentation and create a more even skin tone.

Laser tattoo removal
With FracTAT technology, micro-holes are drilled into the skin using a high energy
fractional ablative laser prior to tattoo removal, which acts as an intracutaneous pressure reliever during subsequent laser treatment. This allows us to treat very deep tattoos, facilitates and accelerates the removal of pigment particles and reduces the risk of side effects and skin damage.
When tattooing, the ink particles are deposited into the dermis layer of the skin by a needle. The body's immune system classifies them as invaders and tries to get rid of them, but because the ink particles are large and deep, the body cannot overcome them and the tattoo remains intact. Modern tattoo removal lasers, however, break down these ink particles into smaller pieces that the immune system can easily break down.

SmoothEye eye area rejuvenation
The SmoothEye laser procedure is designed to tighten the skin on eyelids and around the eyelid area without any special recovery time. The procedure improves the elasticity and texture of the skin, reducing wrinkles, eye bags and dark circles.
-
Smooth laser rejuvenation
Smooth rejuvenation is a superficial laser procedure designed to tighten the skin without a specific recovery time. It is a non-ablative procedure using Fotona's SMOOTH mode, which works the skin smoothly and gently. During the procedure, an intense and controlled temperature is used to warm the superficial tissues. This helps to stimulate collagen and elastin production. The result is smooth, firm and elastic skin.

Questions?
We have answers
Which skin concerns can laser and light therapy address?
Laser and light therapy help with many skin concerns: skin laxity and signs of aging, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scars, tattoos, and tightening of the eye and brow area. The doctor selects the right solution for your concern.
Is laser treatment painful?
Most patients feel warmth and a slight tingling sensation during the treatment. If needed, we use numbing creams. Newer laser devices are equipped with cooling systems that make the treatment more comfortable.
How many laser treatments are needed to see results?
It depends on the procedure and concern. For IPL therapy we typically recommend 3–5 sessions, for tattoo removal 6–10 sessions. 4D laser rejuvenation produces results after the first session. The doctor creates a personalized treatment plan.
Is laser treatment suitable for all skin types?
Most laser treatments suit various skin types, but darker skin may require a special approach. During consultation the doctor assesses your skin type and selects an appropriate laser type and parameters.
What is the recovery time after a laser treatment?
Recovery time depends on the intensity of the treatment. After mild IPL treatments you can return to normal life immediately. After more intense laser procedures, such as fractional resurfacing, recovery may take 5–7 days.
