“Pigment spots can be effectively reduced with modern light and laser treatments, helping restore a more even, clearer and more radiant skin tone.” – nurse Mari-Liis Sootalu

  • IPL treatment for pigmentation

IPL or 'Intense Pulsed Light' is a rejuvenation treatment which uses light therapy to break down melanin in the skin, reverse pigmentation and create a more even skin tone.
  • PRX-T33

PRX-T33 is a biorevitalization peel primarily composed of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), kojic acid, and hydrogen peroxide to rejuvenate the skin without damaging its surface. The procedure stimulates the production of natural collagen, moisturises the skin and evens skin tone. An ideal alternative to biorevitalisation for an immediate effect, safe and with a short recovery time.
  • Green Toning for pigmentation

Green Toning is a pigmentation-removing and skin renewing laser facial treatment. The procedure focuses on evening out skin tone, improving skin texture and removing pigmentation.
  • Photofraxpeel

Photofraxpeel combines three effective procedures of IPL photorejuvenation, fractional laser and chemical peel, ensuring even better clinical results improving sun-damaged skin, skin texture, acne scars and skin quality.
  • Chemical peels

Chemical peels help to cleanse the skin, remove dead skin cells, improve uneven skin texture, smooth superficial wrinkles, reduce pigmentation, acne scars and are ideal for treating inflammatory processes in acne-prone skin.
  • Aesthetic consultation

See an aesthetic specialist if you have a specific concern or want to find out about procedures. An aesthetic nurse or doctor will help you find a solution to your problem and develop a recommended plan for home care and procedures.

Pigment spots form from melanin accumulating in certain skin areas. The main causes are sun exposure, hormonal changes (pregnancy, contraceptives), the aging process and post-inflammatory pigmentation. Melasma is especially strongly linked to hormonal factors.

The choice of treatment depends on the type and depth of pigmentation. For superficial sun spots, IPL therapy works well. For melasma, Green Toning and chemical peels are effective. Often the best results come from a combination of methods.

Pigment spots can return due to sun exposure, which is why daily use of SPF 50+ sunscreen is extremely important. For melasma, maintenance treatments and continuous sun protection are especially crucial for long-lasting results.

For IPL therapy we typically recommend 3–5 sessions at 3–4 week intervals. For chemical peels and Green Toning, 4–6 sessions. The first results are often visible after the very first treatment.

Yes, but for darker skin tones the method must be chosen carefully. Green Toning and chemical peels work well for darker skin too. IPL parameters are adjusted to match the skin tone. The doctor will assess suitable options during consultation.
